"The Constituent Mothers" is a large mural by Carlo Gori for the "Massimo Iaboni" Theater Hall of the Istituto Comprensivo Corrado Melone in Ladispoli (Rome). The work is dedicated to the 21 women who joined the Italian Constituent Assembly on 2 June 1946 thanks to the first election that allowed women to both vote and be elected.
The work was inaugurated on November 4, 2020. A special thanks goes to the whole school and, in particular, to its principal Riccardo Agresti, to the teachers and students, to the coordinator of the artistic project "Coloriamo la nostra scuola" Sandra Magagnini.
